Cara Gee
Cara Gee is an accomplished Canadian actor who recently moved to Los Angeles and is now living and working in Hollywood. As someone who grew up in Bobcaygeon, Ontario, she is loving the warmth and the palm trees.
She recently wrapped shooting a starring role in Call of the Wild, a 20th Century Fox feature directed by Chris Sanders (Lilo & Stitch, How to Train Your Dragon) and starring Harrison Ford. Other notable film credits include: Red Rover, Lone Wolf Survival Kit, The Carmilla Movie and Empire of Dirt, her very first film role which received a special Jury citation at TIFF and saw Cara nominated for a 2014 Canadian Screen Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role.
Cara is a series regular playing Camina Drummer on the critically-acclaimed television show The Expanse (Amazon Original). Prior to that, Cara starred as the series lead in the CBC series Strange Empire. Other selected TV credits include Letterkenny (Comedy Network), Republic of Doyle (CBC), King (Showcase), Darknet, and Inhuman Condition (Shaftesbury). She began her career in theatre, starring in new Canadian plays, notably Tout Comme Elle (Luminato Festival) and The Penelopiad by Margaret Atwood.
Cara was named one of the Top 13 People to Watch (Toronto Star, 2013), a TIFF Rising Star (TIFF, 2013) and one of the 15 Canadian Rising Stars (Deadline Hollywood, 2017).
