Maria hails from Canada! She loves to travel the world meeting her fans! Maria has appeared in many films including
"Wonder Women", she worked with legendary director Roger Corman starring in his film "The Creamators", and also starred in
"Blood Mania"! However she will probably always be remembered as the cocky bounty hunter Greedo who went after Han Solo and
unfortunately lost his life in George Lucas' "Star Wars a New Hope". Originally Maria was hired on Star Wars to fill in for
pick up shots on C-3PO. While she was there for her costume fitting she was offered the part of Greedo. The original footage
Lucas shot of Greedo in England with actor Paul Blake was unacceptable, so he did a 4 day re-shoot in Hollywood CA; it was
Maria's prayers answered from God. She always wanted to be remembered for something big, "Star Wars" was it! She even honors
Mr. Lucas with "saving her life". One day on set she got too hot and couldn't breath, Lucas noticed she was having trouble
and cut the scene in order to have Maria remove her Greedo mask to supply her with some oxygen. The mask was impossible to
see out of and had many wires running through it and was very tight. After a short break she donned the mask again and what
we see today is all her hard work A.K.A Greedo's close ups!
