Treva Etienne is an established Stage and Television actor, with featured roles
in this summer’s blockbuster hit Terminator Salvation and a
recurring role on NBCs show The Philanthropist. He just completed shooting the lead role in
the indie movie Tic and will be in starring in the forthcoming movies South Of the Border,
Desert Vows and Compulsion. He has featured in such movie hits as Pirates
of the Caribbean, Bad Boys II, Black Hawk Down and Eyes Wide Shut. His U.S. TV roles include guest stars
on 24, Medium, Charmed, Angel & Threat Matrix. He featured roles in three independent
features The Changeling and Japan with Peter Fonda. In the UK he is best known for leading roles in hit TV dramas like the
sci-fi series The Last Train, London’s Burning, and the BAFTA/RTS
award winning drama series Holding On. Other featured TV work includes The
Godsend, Casualty, The Bill, Only Fools and Horses, Desmond’s and Sir Peter Hall’s The
Final Passage. His extensive theatre credits include the title role in Sir
Peter Gill’s Macbeth at The Royal National Theatre, and lead roles in Measure
for Measure/Shakespeare & Co. USA, Black Poppies/Royal National Theatre,
Some Kind Of Hero/Young Vic, Moon On a Rainbow Shawl directed
by Maya Angelou /Almeida, Hard Knocks/The Royal Court, The Four Seasons
& Noah’s Wife/ Edinburgh Festival, An Enchanted Land/Riverside Studios.
After
training with the BBC as a director, he wrote and directed his first short film The Promise of Strangers.
His television credits include writing, producing and directing two seasons of the BBC’s award winning comedy sketch
show The Real McKoy. He wrote and directed two award winning short films, Driving
Miss Crazy which won the HBO Best Short Film in Acapulco, and A
Woman Scorned which won Best Short Film at the Hollywood Scarefest Film Fest”.
Both films were screened on Channel 4 in the UK , and played film festivals in the United States, Europe and
Africa. He produced his first project in LA, a pilot drama about the paparazzi called “Tretch’.
He ran his former company, Crown Ten productions for five years, developing young writers in drama
& comedy and running media training programs in schools. He co-produced a short documentary titled “Arts
in the Community”, with BBC Schools. He produced the BBC radio drama Rushdie
and The Bajan Mafia (a radio comedy pilot). Other production credits include The New
Generation (Producer – BBC comedy pilot) and Club Class (Creator/
Director - Ch 5 comedy pilot). The company secured funding from HRH Prince Charles Business Trust. On three
occasions, Treva presented The Duke of Edinburgh Awards to 200 children/teenagers at Buckingham Palace and St. James Palace
with HRH The Duke of Edinburgh and Prince Edward.
