Kane Warren Hodder was born April
8th, 1955 in Auburn, California and is rumored to have been the largest child ever born to that city. Quite fitting for
the man who would become Jason Voorhees later in life.
His career started as a stuntman
on the Chuck Norris and late David Carradine film, Lone Wolf McQuade in which he also had a small part in. Throughout
the years, he has progressed to a more skillful actor and has become Stunt Coordinator on such films as Rob Zombie's
The Devil's Rejects and Academy Award winner Monster with Charlize Theron.
Most
horror fans know Kane as one of the few to play Jason Voorhees in the Friday the 13th films more than once (Parts
7 - 10). In recent years he has played a variety of characters, with and without make-up. Most notably of late is the
character of Victor Crowley in Adam Green's Hatchet and what many consider a break through performance as Dennis
Rader in the film B.T.K..
Kane is also involved in many charities (which will
be linked here in the near future) which have to deal with children and burn victims. Kane having been very badly burned
during a stunt in the 1980's knows full well the help, courage and support they deeply need.
He has
also been a long time supporter of ghost hunting. Kane has co-founded Hollywood Ghost Hunters with fellow stuntman and stunt
coordinator Rick McCallum. Memebers include R.A. Mihailoff and Adam Green as well.
