Femi Taylor is
a dancer who has spread her talents into acting and singing, she
is best known to STAR WARS fans world wide as doomed "Oola" in "Return of
the Jedi".
In 1981 she one a role in the original
cast of "CATS", then during that contract Lucasfilm
asked for her to audition for the role Oola. Then she followed
a stint at Chichester Theatre in a play called "Valmouth" then went
on to do other plays and television dramas and musicals.
She
also moved over to Sydney Australia winning a small part in a John Duighan
film " Flirting" and also another movie Australian based called "A Kink
in the Picasso"
In 1996 she received a personal
call from Lucasfilm asking if she would like to reshoot the
scene "Jabba's Palace" for the Special Edition.
This
has given Femi the unique honor of being the only actress from the Star Wars
saga to be invited back. and the popularity of the films and their continued
" cult status" and has allowed her to become one of the " cult" stars
in the Sci-Fi film industry.
She appeared in the
production " Jesus Christ Superstar" in the West End London.
She has spent time out with her family and her two
boys Zen Four and Jack Two, and plans to return to the profession
this year.
