TIM DRY played J’Quille (a
whiphid and a Mon Calamari Officer) in STAR WARS EPISODE VI: RETURN OF THE JEDI. He also played The Alien in the Sci-Fi/Horror
movie XTRO. In the 1980s he was one half of the legendary mime/music duo TIK AND TOK. They released five singles and a chart
album INTOLERANCE in the UK, Europe and Japan. They supported Duran Duran, Gary Numan and Ultravox. They reformed briefly
in 2005 and wrote and recorded a brand new album DREAM ORPHANS, which is still on sale on the official TIK AND TOK website.
Tim is also an award-winning photographic artist, whose subjects have included Mick Jagger, Steven Berkoff, The Mediaeval
Baebes and Joan Collins. He has exhibited his art in London, Hamburg and New York. His artwork has been used for CD covers
and book jackets. As an actor Tim appeared in more than 90 TV commercials in the UK and throughout Europe (especially in Germany,
where he was featured in over a dozen commercials alone). He has had featured roles in the films THE 10TH KINGDOM and DECADENCE,
and UK TV shows such as THE BILL, EASTENDERS, CASUALTY and FATHER TED. Tim has recently completed his second book, CONTINUUM:
The Star Wars Phenomenon As Experienced From the Inside. This is about Tim’s involvement in the filming of his roles
in JEDI, and of his subsequent appearances from 2003 at STAR WARS Conventions all over the world. The book was published in
August 2008, and features a foreword by Robert Watts, the Producer of the original Star Wars Trilogy. He is currently starting
work on writing the authorized biography of Robert Watts.
